Our Philosophy

As passionate teachers our aim is to deliver quality and fun activities, preparing your child for success at school and helping to make them independent life long learners.

 

Our programs have been developed in line with the National Curriculum. They aim to provide your child with a great head start. We expose children to speaking and listening, personal learning, which includes developing resilience, learning to understand and manage their emotions and interpersonal development which involves working cooperatively as part of a team. Reading, writing, mathematics and the arts are also the teaching foundations of our program.

 

This provides children with a strong foundation for school, as they will have been exposed to literacy and numeracy concepts. Our lessons aim to build your child’s confidence via achievable goals.

 

LIVA Learning focuses on going back to basics through repetitive chants and rhymes, phonic awareness, articulation, letter formation, music, number games.  It has been proven that children learn through repetition and music plays a vital role in engaging and stimulating the brain.

Repetition is a key part of learning. “The more times that you repeat patterns of thought, the more likely you will be able to recall that information” (Michael Tripper).

 

FACT: One of the only activities that activates, stimulates and uses the entire brain is MUSIC.

 

Every parent wants to give their child a jump start in learning. However in today's society, time-poor working parents do not always know where to begin.  LIVA Learning will assist in helping your child learn in a safe environment where they are surrounded by other children. Research shows children learn from their peers.
