Our goal is to provide children with the confidence to commence their first year of schooling, thus simplifying transition into school life.
By exposing them to the learning tools and the structure of a school, we aim to provide children with a jump-start to becoming life long learners. We aim to provide parents with the confidence and skills to help support their child on the way to this precious life milestone. LIVA Learning focuses on preparing the student and parents.
LIVA Learning will work in partnership with the school to ensure that the structured guidelines meet the needs of the school. The children will be prepared for school procedures (before, during and after school routines) and the location of important areas (toilets, buildings ect).
Commencing school can be very overwhelming. It is like an emotional rollercoaster, full of excitement and fear of the unknown for both the prep student and their parents. LIVA Learning hope to make the transition an enjoyable and smooth process.
LIVA Learning uses the teaching tool THRASS in their Literacy program, making it ideal for any school who are currently using THRASS.
Our school readiness program will run during Term 3 and 4 in preparation for the following year. It will run for 2 hrs per week for the full term.
